Terms of service

Effective September 22, 2026. DetailLead connects people seeking mobile auto detailing with independently operated detailing businesses. By submitting a request or using a business account, you agree to use the platform lawfully and provide accurate information.

Requests and bookings

Submitting a request is free and does not guarantee a match, quote, appointment, price, or completed service. Up to three matching businesses may receive a request. A business’s response is an estimate, not a guaranteed final price. Customers and detailers must confirm final scope, schedule, access needs, price, and payment directly. DetailLead does not collect payment for detailing jobs, employ the businesses, or certify their work.

Business accounts and billing

Business accounts are free with no monthly fee. A business pays a flat $20 booking fee each time a lead is booked, either when the business marks it Booked or when the customer selects that business. The fee is charged by Stripe to the card saved in the business dashboard. A saved card is required to receive leads unless fees are waived for a promotional period. Receiving leads does not guarantee bookings. A failed booking-fee payment pauses lead assignment until the card is updated. Businesses must accurately mark jobs they book from DetailLead leads. A business must keep its profile accurate and use customer information solely for the relevant request. Verification and account access may be reviewed by platform administrators.

Responsible use

Do not submit misleading requests, unlawful content, sensitive documents, or photos unrelated to your vehicle. Do not misuse another person’s information, impersonate a business, scrape lead data, or circumvent lead limits. You can report an issue on a request in your dashboard. Reviews should reflect real completed work. These terms should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.

Privacy policy

We collect account details, contact information, business profiles, service ZIP codes, vehicle details, requested services, optional vehicle photos and notes, messages, reviews, and request activity. We also record basic visit and quote-flow events and referral source to understand use of the platform.

How information is used and shared

We use your information to process requests, match businesses by ZIP and service, display responses, manage accounts and billing, send service emails, and investigate reports. Up to three assigned businesses may see the customer’s first name, general location, vehicle details, services, notes, and uploaded photos; contact information is not listed in the business lead dashboard. Administrators may access request and account information to operate the platform. Stripe processes booking-fee payments; DetailLead does not store card numbers. Hosting, authentication, file storage and email providers process information needed to operate the service.

Your choices and data

You can review and close active requests in My requests and edit your business profile in your dashboard. Do not upload sensitive personal or financial documents. Vehicle photos are stored privately and are accessible to you, assigned businesses and administrators through the app. To raise a privacy concern, use the report action on a request or contact the platform operator through the app. This notice does not promise a particular retention period or automated deletion process; the operator should establish those policies before public launch.
